https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=638668 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=638668#c0 Summary: /etc/sysconfig Editor KBD_NUMLOCK setting has no effect Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.3 Version: Final Platform: i686 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.3 Status: NEW Severity: Minor Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Workspace AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: mrkfbrn@yahoo.co.nz QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.2.8) Gecko/20100723 SUSE/3.6.8-0.1.1 Firefox/3.6.8 Opensuse 11.3 KDE4 Wanting to have Numlock on as default when booting. In Bios Numlock state is set to on. On Login screen KDM numlock state is "off" Going to /etc/sysconfig/KBD_NUMLOCK this is set to BIOS which obviously is not working as Bios is set to on. Changing this setting to "on" and then rebooting has no effect. Numlock state remains off and does not come on until KDE begins booting as also have numlock state set to "on" in Personal Settings > Keyboard & Mouse > Keyboard > Numlock on KDE startup set to on. Reproducible: Always -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
