I have a LAN connected to my router, when i browse with smb://10.x.x.x I see the shared folders on my LAN but when accessing them i get the message : "The process for the protocol smb://10.x.x.x stopped unexpectedly." I upgraded 10.3 to 11.0 and i have the same problem. 2) Platform x86. I've just make a fresh install of openSUSE 11.0 on the same laptop into another partition and the problem is still there. 3) Platform x86_64. I upgraded 10.3 to 11.0 on the same laptop into another partition problem is none. I've tested konqueror3, krusader on KDE3 and smbclient. I guess you're using KDE4, the kio_smb slave is broken there. Reassigning to the KDE team.
