https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=221739 Summary: No automatic umount in cd-roms using KDE desktop. Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Beta 2 Platform: PC OS/Version: SuSE Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Hotplug AssignedTo: ihno@novell.com ReportedBy: calvarez@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de After pressing the cdrom eject button, CD tray doesnt come out. I have tried with a IDE cd-rom device and this problem doesnt exist. With root user typing umount or eject there is no problem to take out the CD but no chance at all with a normal user. Error message from a non-root user: umount: /dev/hdc is not in the fstab and you are not root eject: umount of `/dev/hdc` failed The cdrom is not in the fstab file. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
