https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=430480 User besoa.rabenasolo@online.fr added comment https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=430480#c1 Summary: KDE4 kickoff menu misaligned with mouse pointer Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Final Platform: i686 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.0 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Workspace AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: besoa.rabenasolo@online.fr QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Other uname -a Linux tpd-hyqp 2.6.25.16-0.1-default #1 SMP 2008-08-21 00:34:25 +0200 i686 i686i386 GNU/Linux Opensuse 11.0, kde4-kdm 4.1.64-2.3, kde4-kwin 4.1.64-2.3, kdeartwork4-kwin 4.1.64-1.4, libkde4 4.1.64-1.3 hw: IBM Thinkpad z60m, ATI Radeon Mobility X600 (M24) 3150 (PCIE) at 1680x1050 WSXGA+ 24bits procedure: open K menu, select an application menu where there are more than 2 or 3 items, right-click on some items (repeat by moving the mouse pointer slightly up or down) hint: I was not able to edit things in the kickoff menus (eg. add/remove favorite applications) until I noticed the probable reason of that bug: the mouse pointer seems to be misaligned with the menu item. - the mouse right click does not show up for the items at the top or at the bottom of the application menus - or it is related to items one or two lines below (see attached png) This bug seems not to be present on KDE4.1 in Fedora 9 (same laptop) and Kubuntu 8.04 (dell laptop at lower resolution). But this is to be confirmed. By the way, the gray little text reminding the menu path (in the attached png "Système>Configuration"), should not disappear when one scrolls down the menu. I am trying OpenSuse 11.0 because you are the only distribution offering KDE4.2. It is already quite impressive!
