https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=770562 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=770562#c0 Summary: Gnome 2 - Webdavfs with Nautilus and SSL won't accept unknown SSL Certs Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.4 Version: Final Platform: All OS/Version: openSUSE 11.4 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME AssignedTo: bnc-team-gnome@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: pemer@afdata.de QAContact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:13.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/13.0 In Upstream opensuse 11.4 You can't establish a Webdav connection with gnome through a SSL socket, with unknown Certifikates from RapidSSL. Maybe own signed certifaktes are also wrong. In Natilus you can make a setup with remote storage. If you do so, select webdav with SSL. Type in servername, directory and username. Gnome Says: HTTP-Error: The SSL certificate is not trusted. The SSL Certifikate are current and come from RapidSSL. Wishlist/May Solution: If there is chance to build a workaround to import the unknown certifikate, they should work in a forcing mode. So every connection with SSL should be forced accept wrong or unknown certifikates. I think it is a bigger problem to have no connection than to have any faulty connection. Info: On my old OpenSUSE 11.1 are this working. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.in Natilus go to Place/URL 2. Type a webdav URL into, starts with davs://<servername.domain.tld>/<dir> 3. Type a Username 4. Computer says: NO -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
