[Bug 1042726] virtualbox is missing support for building kernel modules
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1042726 http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1042726#c3 Daniel Pecka <nettezzaumanaa@gmail.com> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Flags| |needinfo?(Larry.Finger@lwfi | |nger.net) --- Comment #3 from Daniel Pecka <nettezzaumanaa@gmail.com> --- Hello Larry, I've learned that at least within using our suse kernel repo it's required to add also a kms repo for kernel/stable which was not obvious before ... So it couldn't be fixed by adding both http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/Kernel:/stable/standard/ http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/Kernel:/stable:/KMP/standard/ however I still think that adding a (missing) build infrastructure scripts that are present in vbox sources is sane ... Please close the bug if it's okay like that - eg by always adding a kms repo along with kernel/standard one if you don't feel that content of $VBOXSRC/src/VBox/Installer/linux is not necessary .. Do you please consider all my input to this case as enough or are you still missing something (I'm afraid that I can't provide more than opinions) .. regards, daniel -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
