Watching a bouncing icon after the programm is started give a bad impression IMHO. This is not a "monster" pc but an old PIV 1,7Ghz with 512Mb of RAM running live-cd. BTW, lowering the default to 15sec should be enough for "monsters" like OO or Firefox..
