https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=208436 ------- Comment #1 from jan.albrecht@bertelsmann.de 2006-09-27 22:40 MST ------- Error was solved: There was the i586 ZMD package installed. Deleting the package and reinstalling the x86_64 package did the thing. But it"s strange, as there are many i586 packages on my x86_64 system. Shouldn't these packages be taboo? Is there any way to delete packages via yast and replace them with x86_64 packages? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.

https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=208436 ------- Comment #3 from jan.albrecht@bertelsmann.de 2006-09-28 04:44 MST ------- I only did install new packages via ZMD Updater. But maybe the package was installed when I tried to resolve the first ZMD problems. I did a rpm -Fvh *rpm in the i586 folder, which IIRC resulted in updates packages. So I won't say that it isn't my fault. Is there any known way to deinstall these packages? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.

You can just go into the x86-64 directory and install the packages from there... ;) (and the noarch folder). -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
