[Bug 254880] New: Error while installing bootloader (lilo)
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=254880 Summary: Error while installing bootloader (lilo) Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Linux Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: Installation AssignedTo: odabrunz@novell.com ReportedBy: aosthof@novell.com QAContact: jsrain@novell.com CC: aosthof@novell.com If one installs a openSUSE 10.2 with lilo bootloader and there are 2 (or more) linux other system entries, the yast2 bootloader proposal fails to name them correctly. Thus, there are 2 (or more) entries called "Linux_other" which leads to a conflict writing the lilo.conf and so the lilo can't be installed.
