So whenever i close laptop lid it does goes to sleep - harddisk turns off, power button starts blinking yellow - all good. But when i wake laptop that's when it fails to do so. I can hear hard disk starting buzzing but for the rest laptop is dead - keyboard, screen - all dead. As i have sad i have tried every option from s2ram howto on suse page - with exactly same outcome. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

I suffer from the same problem. I own Toshiba A200 model and the simptoms are the same. It goes in suspend normally, but on wake up computer hangs. I tried all combinations described on opensuse page. The hard drive LED becomes active but the 5th LED(Multiple Digital Media Card Slot Access LED) never, normaly on resume it does (Windows, Fedora core 9). I also noticed that fan goes crazy when hangs (10 sec after resume). I tried on openSuse 10.3 and 11.0(LIVE) and in either case the problem is same. I also tried with Fedora Core 9 (LIVE) and suspend works fine from out of the box. s2ram -i: This machine can be identified by: sys_vendor = "TOSHIBA" sys_product = "Satellite A200" sys_version = "PSAE6E-0DP036G3" bios_version = "V1.70" See http://suspend.sf.net/s2ram-support.html for details.
