I had to add the Mic column, which was not there by default. Now, the capture check mark sets either the Mic or the CD, so that one of the sources is always checked. Maybe this is the design intent, that is, the button is not a toggle switch, but a swap. Then I think we should add the Mic column by default and have the Mic capture checked, instead of the CD. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=618606 http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=618606#c3 Carlos Lange <carlos.lange@ualberta.ca> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Summary|CD capture does not switch |Mic column not included by |off in KMix |default in KMix mixer --- Comment #3 from Carlos Lange <carlos.lange@ualberta.ca> 2010-07-29 19:57:14 UTC --- I installed 11.3 in 2 systems (one laptop and one desktop) and in both cases the mic (in case of the desktop also the front mic) were not listed by default in the mixer. I had to add them with Settings/Configure Channels. This is not intuitive. I think at least one mic column should be included by default in the mixer window. I changed my summary accordingly, since this was the problem in the first place. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

If you still have the problem please reopen or even better report it upstream at bugs.kde.org. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
