[Bug 700416] New: click in scroll area causes more than one page advance or retard
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=700416 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=700416#c0 Summary: click in scroll area causes more than one page advance or retard Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 12.1 Version: Factory Platform: x86 OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Installation AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: mrmazda@earthlink.net QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- To reproduce: 1-Select package details 2-select e.g. summary or search that produces a lot of pages of right pane output 3-click space above or below scroll grabber/button Actual results: 1-usually, a single pgdn or pgup is painted, then another (sometimes not, assuming more than one is possible) Expected results: 1-only one page up or down occurs (always, if more than one is even possible) This has actually been going on for quite some weeks, maybe months dating back to pre-11.4GM, and occurs AFAIR on every mouse/trackball/computer I try with, though mostly I use PS/2 devices rather than USB, and all my systems are pre-multicore. My most used pointing device is a Trackman Marble. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

I can't reproduce on an installed system either - only during installation. In this case I'm pretty sure it's not a yast2-qt bug but a X11 issue.
