[Bug 688003] New: integration with kde-apps.org fails for debug packages
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=688003 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=688003#c0 Summary: integration with kde-apps.org fails for debug packages Classification: Internal Novell Products Product: openSUSE Build Service Version: 2.0 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: General AssignedTo: adrian@novell.com ReportedBy: sommerluk@gmail.com QAContact: adrian@novell.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:2.0.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0 The integration of the openSUSE build service at kde-apps.org has a problem. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Look at http://kde-apps.org/content/show.php/KStreamRipper?content=78068 Actual Results: For some repositories, it doesn't only list only the package itself (which was named in the settings), but also the corresponding debug package. This is confusing, because the user sees for example _two_ packages for Fedora 12 i386 (and also _two_ packages for Fedora 12 x86_64) - and he can not distinguish which of them is the program itself. Result: Maybe he clicks on the wrong button, installs only the debug package, later wants to start the program and it doesn't work. Expected Results: Only the package itself is displayed, and no one of the debug packages. This bug occurs with Fedora and SUSE SLE packages. It does _not_ occur with openSUSE and Mandriva packages. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
