The problem here is that you have to know how manage this with VMPlayer. There are two possibilities: Do it with nfs or with a usb-Stick. When VMPlayer has usb mounting enabled do it with the last.->Should be easier than to figure arround with nfs. When you prefer the harder way: http://www.open7x0.org/wiki/NFS-Server_unter_Windows (switch to english when needed). It´s counterproductive to stay on the point that user has in all cases provide the debugging(log) part of a problem. In cases where a critical part of the system is affected - and installation is one - which also correlate with one of the most difficult debugging recipes - to get the logs out of a vm is difficult - this is not a working thing. Logging to a USB-Stick: OK, here is a direcktory YaST2 on the Stick, but no Log-File.

I have the ISO-Image against downloaded. No problems - No problems with other Downloads. I have burn the Image on a new DVD - No problems with other DVD's. I have try to install the system from the DVD - the same shit - No problems with other Operatingsystems. Now I have not installed form the DVD but form the ISO-Image on the HD direct. It has work. The install on a real machine works also. Is here a incompatible IDE/DVD-Driver with the VM-Ware ?
