We cannot simply blacklist one of the drivers, as the set of supported cards may differ. This is definitely the case for orinoco and hostap, as orinoco supports Hermes chipsets besides Prism2. It may be the case for PrismGT cards as well, as p54 might not support FullMAC devices (not sure about this). I the past, I did blacklist all drivers and added lots of alias-lines to modprobe config, but this is quite a PITA. So far, udev simply loads all matching drivers, which is probably not what the user wants. Is there some mechanism in udev that could help us? There a reasons to not use re-binding, as Kay stated. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
