[Bug 547352] New: Metacity: don't fallback to broken icon if icon unset
http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=547352 Summary: Metacity: don't fallback to broken icon if icon unset Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.2 Version: RC 1 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Minor Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME AssignedTo: bnc-team-gnome@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: rpmcruz@alunos.dcc.fc.up.pt QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Created an attachment (id=322721) --> (http://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=322721) Screenshot User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; pt-PT; rv:1.9.0.13) Gecko/2009080200 SUSE/3.0.13-0.1.2 Firefox/3.0.13 If window icon is not set, Metacity in 11.1 would show the same generic icon as that of the Gnome taskbar. In 11.2 however, Metacity fallbacks to this ugly broken icon that gives the user the idea something is broken about the application. Not likely, you have already upgraded to newer versions of openSUSE, which had a lot more bug fixes. As openSUSE 11.2 is no longer maintained (for a long time already) and I can't seem to reproduce anything similar in openSUSE 12.1 / 12.2 RC, I close the bug as 'FIXED'. Should you be able to reproduce this issue on a newer openSUSE version, please feel to report it again. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
