Every time I run Firefox or Thunderbird from the shell launcher I can't see the applications (Firefox) and attachments (Thunderbird), every time I try those applications crash. But when I start from the GNOME-Terminal the bug isn't reproduced. These are the messages when I start Firefox from the GNOME-Terminal: -------------- (process:8060): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_slice_set_config: assertion 'sys_page_size == 0' failed (firefox:8060): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: Attempt to add property GnomeProgram::sm-connect after class was initialised (firefox:8060): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: Attempt to add property GnomeProgram::show-crash-dialog after class was initialised (firefox:8060): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: Attempt to add property GnomeProgram::display after class was initialised (firefox:8060): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: Attempt to add property GnomeProgram::default-icon after class was initialised -------------- These are the messages when I start Thunderbird from the GNOME-Terminal: -------------- (process:8468): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_slice_set_config: assertion 'sys_page_size == 0' failed (thunderbird:8468): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: Attempt to add property GnomeProgram::sm-connect after class was initialised (thunderbird:8468): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: Attempt to add property GnomeProgram::show-crash-dialog after class was initialised (thunderbird:8468): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: Attempt to add property GnomeProgram::display after class was initialised (thunderbird:8468): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: Attempt to add property GnomeProgram::default-icon after class was initialised [calBackendLoader] Using libical backend at /home/edu/.thunderbird/rc6xx1wk.default/extensions/{e2fda1a4-762b-4020-b5ad-a41df1933103}/components/libical.manifest -------------- I use the %u parameter from Alacarte, but the bug continues when I remove it. Now Firefox seems more stable, but its performance continues being improvable. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
