[Bug 832528] New: menues in acroread not responsive when multiple tabs open and active selecting one of those
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=832528 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=832528#c0 Summary: menues in acroread not responsive when multiple tabs open and active selecting one of those Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 12.3 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 12.3 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Commercial AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: haenig@cosifan.de QAContact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:22.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/22.0 If there are more than one PDFs open in one instance of acroread one is able to choose one of those by clicking onto the respective tab. But when doing so the menue entries ('File', 'Edit', .. 'Help') are no longer selectable - that is clicking onto results in nothing at all. Sometimes (I could not determine a single reason here) the tabs to choose between several PDFs become not selectable too. After changing to another desktop and back to the one showing acroread the menue entries as well as the tabs are responsive working again and the game startes over. What helps too is to click into (a page of) an open PDF. After this both (menues as well as tabs) become responsive again (until the first click onto a tab of course.) What also unfreezes both is using items (e.g. the 'magnification' buttons) from the default toolbar. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. open several (at least 2) PDFs in acroread (local or through brower (not with the plugin)) 2. select one of the tabs explicitely 3. try to use one of the menues to open e.g. another file or print the selected) Actual Results: the menue are not working (no pulldown after clicking onto) Expected Results: the menue should simply work (open/pulldown after clicking onto) happens/tried with - kde3 (with either lightdm or kdm3) - xfce4 (with either lightdm or kdm3) Versions: kdebase3-kdm-3.5.10.1-337.1.x86_64 lightdm-1.4.0-6.4.1.x86_64 acroread-9.5.5-4.1.i586 kdebase3-workspace-3.5.10.1-337.1.x86_64 xfwm4-4.10.0-5.1.2.x86_64 -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
