In 11.1 the solver is still allowed to silently pick a package from a low priority repo, if the one with higher priority is not installable due to dependency problems. - In 11.2 the solver will complain if the highest priority package is not installable, and ask how to resolve this. 11.2 also contains fixes for the UI to follow sub-priorities (prefer volatile/download). @prefer volatile: This option has an effect, IFF both packages (online/local) are identical (not just same version, but also same dependencies, buildtime,...). Due to the way out repostiories are built, it may be that packages (mostly noarch) in the online repos have the same version, but a never buildtime than the ones on DVD.
