This happens no matter which network I am on to download the packages during patching process (including different countries). To fix the issue, every gstreamer package needs to be reinstalled afterwards. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install a gstreamer patch 2. Attempt to load pidgin/start screensaver after installation complete. 3. Actual Results: ERROR: Caught a segmentation fault while loading plugin file: /usr/lib/gstreamer-0.10/libgstbml.so Please either: - remove it and restart. - run with --gst-disable-segtrap and debug.
