My system is too slow to initialize after I upgraded to Leap 15 Beta:
systemd-analyze blame 1min 7.653s ca-certificates.service 52.298s btrfsmaintenance-refresh.service 40.955s NetworkManager.service 30.731s systemd-tmpfiles-clean.service ...
I don't see how this should be related to "KDE Workspace (Plasma)" though, so re-assigning. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

From the boot graph, the only service that is being started in parallel and takes 30 seconds is network.service. But that does not really make sense to me because btrfs is for local filesystems so it should not care about network being up, right? Or is it just that systemctl commands can't be run in

I have a Tumbleweed system which also takes way too long to boot. There is one top offender in common with this bug report: btrfsmaintenance-refresh.service. This might be related to bug#1110259 then, I suppose...

Also, if a script must be run to have the changes made to /etc/sysconfig/btrfsmaintenance to take effect, (...) the script would be better run *once* after editing the configuration file (...)
Apparently this is already automated by /usr/lib/systemd/system/btrfsmaintenance-refresh.path. So I understand the rationale for a boot-time script even less. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
