[Bug 254450] New: Sleep no longer works on Wallstreet II
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=254450 Summary: Sleep no longer works on Wallstreet II Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Final Platform: Macintosh OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: Kernel AssignedTo: kernel-maintainers@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: larrystotler@netscape.net QAContact: qa@suse.de Suspend and Sleep mode no longer work on Wallstreet Series II Powerbook. When selecting Suspend from the desktop, it says preparing to and then says resuming and gives an error box saying that suspend fails. When closing the lid, it will suspend, but when you open it back up, the system restores, but the screen's backlight stays off. Further, sometimes when it is just left running plugged into an AC outlet, the screen will blank, and then when trying to do something, the backlight will be off. At this point, if the lid is closed, it will suspend, and when re-opened and tapping a key, the screen will come back on properly. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
