And also you could install NetworkManager-gnome-debuginfo.rpm and NetworkManager-gnome-debugsource.rpm packages to debug nm-applet, Use gdb to debug nm-applet, when it crash, use backtrace, found where it crash, then send me back the result. It's in the GConf, you can find it at /system/networking/connections/ in gconf-editor.
I don't have a /system/networking in my GConf. Infact, that is what I was actually searching since morning. I guess, some schema file needs to be gconftool-2 --install-schema-file'd and not sure where to find it.
