[Bug 1184387] New: Enable automatic removal of installation medium repository
https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1184387 Bug ID: 1184387 Summary: Enable automatic removal of installation medium repository Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Tumbleweed Version: Current Hardware: x86-64 OS: openSUSE Tumbleweed Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Usability Assignee: screening-team-bugs@suse.de Reporter: martin.rohde@suse.com QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- When installing any kind of openSUSE distribution, the system typically reboots after the installation process is finished. Very often I find myself (and other users for that matter) removing the USB flash drive at the very end of that process. After a first fresh reboot, users typically face error messages as the repository from the installation medium is still present in Yast. It would greatly increase usability for new users if they do not have to manually do this. The proposed solution would be to prompt a user when the USB flash drive can be removed after installation and to trigger an automatic repository removal when a user confirms a reboot after installation. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
