Error responses, especially error codes, are not very well defined. There are still many places left where the API passes the request to the backend without doing some basic tests before, producing different errors. But there is always a error xml, in case of an uncaught exception its message will be passed. For the user, this should provide a slightly better chance of understanding the cause of errors. https://api.opensuse.org/source/foo/bar/_meta https://api.opensuse.org/source/foo/_pattern/bar Repaired the error messages of those two in svn.
