[Bug 346630] New: BAD PERFORMANCE: clearing cache when using ' yast2 sw_single' for manual update
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=346630 Summary: BAD PERFORMANCE: clearing cache when using 'yast2 sw_single' for manual update Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: linuxadmin@yandex.ru QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: --- I'm using a lot of repositories. Each time a repo is changed (I guess so), yast clears the corresponding cache, which happens very very slowly! I have a subjective impression, that the performance of the process is anti-proportional to the amount of changes (in each repository). Isn't it possible, just to DELETE the cache of a changed repository? (Therefor, each repo would need own DB) -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
