I think that only configuration of ethernet is possible during installation. But, as a workaround, if you would like to enable wlan during installation, you could boot live system, configure wlan and proced with the installation. I've added Michal Hrusecky to confirm that. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Are you able to configure ESSID and other stuff from YaST? Anyway, reassigning to YaST guys as installer is their responsibility. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

The wireless interface was recognized but ESSID and password were never requested requested until that state. So the problem seems to be resolved in 13.1. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=851928 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=851928#c5 --- Comment #5 from Ulf Michel <u.michel@t-online.de> 2013-11-29 20:14:33 UTC --- A further attempt to replicate the problem with the final 13.1 installation disk openSUSE-13.1-DVD-x86_640091 revealed that the problem still exists: At one stage there is a message (translated from G(erman) "Add online repositories before the installation" (which I overlooked in my previous check reported in Comment 3). If you add a checkmark here a dialogue on DHCP is displayed for the WiFi module, but the necessary dialogue for the ESSID and the password never appears. So the problem still exists!! -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
