https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=390029 Summary: Apache post-install problems Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Final Platform: 32bit OS/Version: openSUSE 10.3 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Apache AssignedTo: bnc-team-apache@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: gabrielstein@gmail.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- After installed apache2+PHP+MYSQL, on first startup of apache2 I receive this error: httpd2: Syntax error on line 188 of /etc/apache2/httpd.conf: Could not open configuration file /etc/apache2/sysconfig.d/include.conf: No such file or directory Is so easy to workaround, just use touch to create a file called include.conf at correct directory. But this thing can be automatically done? For dummies users? I installed PHP with a lot of modules, like mysql, gd, xmlrpc. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

[*] You *should* use rcapache2, really, since it is has lots of cool features anyway, while apache2ctl does nothing more than starting the daemon and killing it. Is there a particular reason for you to stick to apache2ctl? [*] in fact, the RPM %post script makes sure that some needed action is done at installation time already (get_module_list). This could be completed by adding calls to /usr/share/apache2/get_includes to each %post. Then it should work out of the box... -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Sorry by delay. But I just use apache2ctl for conveniece, not for something special. I´m thinking about new openSUSE users, which used another distributions, like debian or another. Can I make a new openSUSE package with post script to create a empty file?
