Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Boot openSUSE 12.1 Rescue System on Dell Optiplex 790 (BIOS A07 or BIOS A11, just if that might matter) 2 Inspect /var/log/boot.msg Actual Results: Several warnings about ACPI appear Expected Results: No backtraces should appear during boot I updated to the latest BIOS, but the message remained. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=759577 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=759577#c2 --- Comment #2 from Ulrich Windl <Ulrich.Windl@rz.uni-regensburg.de> 2012-05-04 13:07:07 CEST --- I can confirm that the message does not appear in /var/log/messages of the current 12.1 kernel. So maybe it's restricted to the rescue system. Is there a smaller download with just the rescue system for the 12.2 milestone (preferrably CD-size instead of DVD-size)? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
