[Bug 535424] New: rpm crashes in build system
http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=535424 Summary: rpm crashes in build system Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.2 Version: Factory Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Blocker Priority: P5 - None Component: Basesystem AssignedTo: mls@novell.com ReportedBy: coolo@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de CC: adrian@novell.com Found By: --- since the last full rebuild, rpm crashes during installation of packages - mostly on x86_64. It crashes very seldomly, but it crashes often enough to make rebuilding a package a game of chance. I could not reproduce locally, but when I tried it long enough, it also crashes on my test machine and I changed openSUSE-images to call gdb when rpm crashed. Both backtraces make little sense (this is rpm 4.4 still btw). test machine installing bash: Core was generated by `rpm --force --ignorearch --nodeps -U --oldpackage --ignoresize -r /usr/src/pack'.
