In order to get rid of nvidia proprietary and hassles with nouveau, I decided to check out the "good" ATI Linux support. With ambivalent results to put it mildly.. X server crashes are in the class of the worst linux user experiences (and I do that for a while now, started in '96). Therefor a critical severity is deserved. BTW, completely changing to X11:Xorg results in the exact same behavior. I can provide strace logs of the crashing server, if requested. Let me know, we I can do to help to fix this issue. Hopefully, I can stand it long enough to not swap graphics card again. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
