The possible combinations of path+filename are at the moment: 25(directories) * 113(filenames) = 2825 And when thinking about different smbtatorture processes running on different machines, but are targetting the same two shares, those would also need to be able to get a unique filename. A few fixes are still needed, such as giving free used names when a client disconnects, but we are on track. The idea in comment #9, basically to make smbtatorturesrv able to run daemonized, or attached to a terminal (and then show information) is a good one. But to close this bug, the current functionality is fine, other stuff is something for past 1.2.2.
