After the repo and driver was installed the issue with the initrd file occurred. Until now I didn't knew about "sdbootutil mkinitrd" and didn't try. I used:

sudo transactional-update -c initrd

This will no work until the next transactional-update release. The correct way is

sudo sdbootutil mkinitrd

The next t-u will do something equivalent to this.
