I talked to Richard Hughes upstream about a problem where my laptop always says "your laptop had a suspend problem" after unsuspending (but it always suspends/unsuspends just fine). He suggested updating to pm-utils-1.1.0. Upstream had a lot of code churn just for the cause of change, and i am not aware of any bug fixes that have gone in there. So IMHO it would be better to just fix your bug, and postpone the move to a later pm-utils version to "after 11.0". I'd suspect that it is the dbus-timeout problem and you need to fix dbus (upstream does not want that) or gnome-power-manager. Just throw the ball back to Richard. Danny, you know the gory details better than me. Could you please explain what needs to be fixed in g-p-m?
