[Bug 227706] New: Actual Blender Version crashes XServer

This is in blender full Screen Mode and Window mode. Sometimes a new Start of the XServer afterwards leaves the KDE-Apps unresponsive to mouseclicks, other times it just restarts without problems. I have: AMD Athlon 64 Suse Linux 10.2 final 32Bit System !!! Graphic: ATI Radeon X700Pro Monitor: Samsung SyncMaster 205BW 1680x1050 blender-2.42a-24 I asked this in the Chatroom #suse but it was not answered by anyone. I hope i gave all the infos thats needed, this is my first Bug report. I added the Xorg.0.log. Before starting the XServer i deleted /var/log/messages with /dev/null and after the crash there was no message in it (size:0). I will give a final info before end of next week. I never looked at dri, because with 10.1 it worked without any module loading. The circular selection in shading Mode doesn't work correct. It selects some vertices but not all. 2. When moving the circular or rectangle selection cursor it trails the cursor (look at pict in attachment; circle.jpg); pink circles !!! 3. Maybe asking this on dri-devel is a good idea, but in that case be prepared to test newer versions of the driver. What happened to blender? I can only find blender-doc in current factory.
