The release notes should point to this and point out that this might require a different partition layout for people who use separate /usr and /opt partitions. KDE 3 will stay in <filename>/opt</filename> for compatibility reasons.</para> <para>Before starting the update, make sure that there is enough disk space under <filename>/usr</filename> (approx. 2.5 GB for both the desktops is required).
