[Bug 368120] New: smart lacks a --root=/somedir parameter
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=368120 Summary: smart lacks a --root=/somedir parameter Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Alpha 2 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: Basesystem AssignedTo: cthiel@novell.com ReportedBy: adrian@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de CC: ms@novell.com Found By: --- Kiwi fails currently to init a system in subdir, when deb.rpm is installed. The problem is that smart --data-dir /somedir/var/lib/smart config --show does init a deb-sys, because the check for /var/lib/dpkg is hardcoded to / as bases system. I do not see any option to check within a subdir, / seems to be hardcoded. a chroot before does not work either, because the system does not exist at this point. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
