With the 13.1 installation DVD iso from here http://software.opensuse.org/131/en press F3, select '1024x768', 'Installation', after some seconds of boot process the resolution will be switched to a higher resolution than 1024x768, the monitor shows 'CANNOT DISPLAY THIS VIDEO MODE'.
