[Bug 747574] New: KDE4.8 Dolphin column linkdestination
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=747574 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=747574#c0 Summary: KDE4.8 Dolphin column linkdestination Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 12.1 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 12.1 Status: NEW Severity: Minor Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Applications AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: hans.defaber@gmail.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Created an attachment (id=476643) --> (http://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=476643) picture of dolphin User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:10.0.1) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/10.0.1 Since V2.0 of dolphin the column "Link destination" contains for all file and directory entries the text "No destination". This makes it harder to find links in large directories. Because files and directories usually have no destination and is the normal behaviour the text "no destination" is non information. It degrades the readability of this column Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open dolphin V2.0 and add the column link destination 2. 3. Expected Results: See for every file and directory "Link destination, No destination". I discovered this behaviour after upgrade to kde 4.8.
