I found a similar problem on 42.2, but it is stated to be solved two years ago. Only problem is, that I experience the same. I can get it to work though, by issuing the command: ip link set dev vboxnet0 up Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start virtualbox instance 2. Try to connect 3.
