(In reply to comment #1 from Duncan Mac-Vicar)
Please attach YaST logs and a solver testcase as explained here: http://en.opensuse.org/Bugs/YaST
Yast2logs attached. However, the testcase... that will not be possible, because I can't reproduce the problem now. This problem was last Wednesday, and I tried many things (reported on factory list) till I managed to get it going. However, if you have a command line (not yast) command that generates a testcase, I'll attach it, anyway. Currently I'm in 11.0 and can only do a chroot to 11.1 on an xterm, and yast refuses to run there. The original report was also while using the chroot. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

I guess you don't use autorefresh for the 11.1 repo (and it's linked to ever changing 'factory' repo right now), and if you don't you have to take care of refreshing the repos manually using 'zypper ref'. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

That was a temporary error. The other error (mounting media failed), OTOH, should not end as an unexpected exception, though. Ironically, I ended up downloading the equivalent of a CD-ROM ISO accidentally because Beta 4 had been replaced in the repositories with Beta 5. After the first half hour I figured out what had happened and had to decide whether to abort it. The whole process took 2 - 3 hours due to my slow Internet service, but the alternative was to have wasted the half hour and still need over 3 hours to download a full ISO later. Oh well. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
