I'm wondering a bit where you got the 'vmlinuz-2.6.20-2-default' from, as this definitely was not part of alpha0plus, it was: vmlinuz-2.6.20-rc6-2-default.
This machine is updated often to /dist/install/stable-x86, it just said to be "alpha0plus" at the login prompt before update. (In reply to comment #8)
