Under Opensuse 11.4 it was configured and recognised by the OS when it loaded the KDE desktop. Under 12.1 it is not recognised until I remove it and reinsert it. Then KDE recognises it and works fine, so the driver must be OK but KDE is not recognising it at the appropriate time. I have no real problem with removing and reinserting the USB stick to enable KDE to recognise it, but it means that the akonadi service can't connect to my mailbox at desktop load time. So after I remove and reinsert my USB wireless device, KDE recognises it, I then have to go into the Akonadi configuration and reconnect my on-line mailboxes. I am not a Linux expert, just a user so I have no idea what further information you need. If you want me to start anything up from the CLI please tell me the commands and I will run them. Also please remember that this problem didn't happen under 11.4 so I would have to guess that something has changed/regressed with 12.1 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Boot PC 2.No USB wireless connection 3.
