[Bug 297308] New: xend is not started when choosing xen in bootmanager
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=297308 Summary: xend is not started when choosing xen in bootmanager Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Alpha 7 Platform: x86 OS/Version: openSUSE 10.3 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Xen AssignedTo: cgriffin@novell.com ReportedBy: torsten.hallmann@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Field Engineer Installing the xen-server pattern with a fresh installation does boot the xen microkernel, but not the xen daemon. "chkconfig -l xend" shows that the daemon is not activated in any runlevel. Checking the /etc/init.d/xend script confirms that the script should be ok. Default runlevel 3 and 5 are set. Seems that just a insserv is missing. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
