The message looks like this: Mar 19 18:35:02 <hostname> NetworkManager[1506]: keyfile: updating /etc/NetworkManager/system-connections/System eth0 Is there a way to disable this (as it surely prevents the hdd from spinning down)? Both, rsyslog (default) and syslog-ng should log /var/log/NetworkManager, but because of bug 676041 "rsyslog discard operator doesn't work", rsyslog logged to both.
