https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=703609 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=703609#c0 Summary: File operations with Fly Q110 phone do not work Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.4 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Kernel AssignedTo: kernel-maintainers@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: anixx@opensuse.org QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; ru; rv:1.9.1.19) Gecko/20110420 SUSE/2.0.14-2.1 SeaMonkey/2.0.14 The phone mounts successfully in USB Flash drive mode. The contents of the directories are listed correctly. But any file operations (copying files to or from the phone) stop after first 32 kB copied, then stuck. When copying files to the phone, after this it becomes impossible to unmount the device. If to manually unplug it, no changes to the file system are kept. Renaming files or creating directories does not work as well. At the same time Yast2 can successfully format the drive (altough it hangs if the phone is already connected when Yast2 partition manager is being started but if to plug the phone after the partition manager is started and then rescan the devices, it is detected well and can be formatted). Under Windows all works well which suggests the problem is with Linux.
