[Bug 1172978] New: chronyd eats all CPU
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1172978 Bug ID: 1172978 Summary: chronyd eats all CPU Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Tumbleweed Version: Current Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Basesystem Assignee: screening-team-bugs@suse.de Reporter: michael@stroeder.com QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- After upgrade to Tumbleweed 20200614 chronyd sometimes goes crazy and pushes CPU to 100%. It happens every now and then in my libvirt qemu-kvm instances. Stopping chronyd reduces the CPU load but restarting it makes it eating up all CPU again. Only reboot helps. Maybe something with kernel 5.7.1? kernel-kvmsmall is used in these VMs. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
