Sean Dague has pushed this bug along to the perl-Gtk2 maintainers, and they have accepted a fix to this problem. I do not know which version of perl-Gtk incorporates this fix. The current version of Perl-Gtk2 is 1.140 ---uname output--- Linux newlaptop 2.6.16.21-0.25-smp #1 SMP Tue Sep 19 07:26:15 UTC 2006 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux Machine Type = t60p laptop ---Steps to Reproduce--- NOTE: This bug is already fixed upstream. Install Sanity on SUSE 10.1. Run it. Play with it for a few minutes. It crashes. This bug report needs to be escalated to SUSE to provide an updated (fixed) version of Perl-Gtk2. ---General Tools and Utilities Component Data--- Userspace tool common name: I have no idea what this means... Maybe "sanity" ? The userspace tool has the following bit modes: 32-bit Userspace rpm: perl-Gtk2-1.102 *Additional Instructions This is on my laptop, and access isn't needed. The bug fix has already been accepted upstream. _______________________________________________________________________________________ There is no specific upstream patch, the perl gtk2 team doesn't work that way.
= 1.103 fixes the issue.
