[Bug 227393] New: Utility Disk Read Error In Sax2
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=227393 Summary: Utility Disk Read Error In Sax2 Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Final Platform: x86 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: SaX2 AssignedTo: ms@novell.com ReportedBy: debgnu@gmail.com QAContact: qa@suse.de When attempting to use the Utility Disk function (Sax2 > Graphics Card > Monitor > Change > Utiliity Disk) I get the following message after the message to insert the Vendor CD: "Read Error. Could not read from CD or Disk. This may point to a damaged medium or incorrectly formatted information files" The disk is readable as I can browse the contents in Konqueror or via the command line (see output below). Could you check if there is a .inf file on your CD ? This corresponds to the monitor series that I am using, a Lenovo L191.
