Care to report it to upstream? The DRM subsystem has a gitlab issue tracker.
They may ask for testing with the latest upstream and you can try the kernel in OBS Kernel:HEAD and/or Kernel:linux-next, too.
Ok, found the issue-tracker on gitlab.freedesktop.org - I will report there instead upon next appearance of fault. Meanwhile a kernel update to 5.4.7-1.g34ebd00-default was released - without any issues up to now.
